2nd Anniversary!

Two years ago today, Ryan and I were married! It was such a great day, and we had a great time celebrating all weekend!

We started out on Friday night going to dinner at Texas Roadhouse in Bountiful. It was my first time ever eating there, and I really wanted to try it out before I started working there in a couple weeks! It was so so good, and now I really can't wait to start working there, it was just such a fun atmosphere!

After dinner, we went to Orem to see Lonestar in concert. It was a great concert, despite our not so great seats. We ended up getting there right as it was starting, so we had to sit on the very far side, and the hill where we set up our blanket was like a 45 degree hill, so we kept sliding down, and pretty much had a wedgie the whole night! But the music was great! They are really fun to see live, and the sound good to!

After to concert, we drove up to my grandparents cabin in Oakley. We went straight to bed, since we get there pretty late. The next morning, Ryan made us some delicious crepes, and we had fresh fruit on top. We got all cleaned up and went up to Smith and Morehouse reservoir and had a nice little picnic on the beach and skipped some rocks (skipping rocks is NOT my strong point we found out, haha!)

After the lake, we went back to the cabin and took a nap then made some yummy dinner and took a nice evening walk. We saw a bunch of chipmunks, and squirrels running around, and we even saw a momma and a baby deer, They were so cute! Then we went back to the cabin and watched a movie and headed to bed.

This morning we just woke up and got all cleaned up and packed up and headed home. The Doyle's invited us over for dinner, so we went there and watched the Giants game, had some yummy dinner and played a couple board games.

All in all, we had a great anniversary, and most of all a great past 2 years. I love Ryan so so much and I'm so happy that I've been married to him for this time, and I get to married to him forever and ever! There is nothing better then getting to be with your best friend every day, and looking forward to every second you get to be together. I can't wait to find out what the future holds for us, and I can't wait to experience it all with you!

new job!

so i'm officially the newest server at the new Texas Roadhouse up here in Logan!

I'm so exicted! They've had over 3500 applicants since it started being built, and by the time I applied, they only had 12 serving positions left with 60 people left to interview for the spots, so I'm really lucky I got the job! It's opens up on September 21, so come in and request my tables!

p.s. one of the things I'm most excited for is the line dancing that they do there, check out this:

new summer favs

so this summer Ryan and I have discovered some fun new shows on tv...if any of you are up for new things, I would suggest checking some of these out, they are highly entertaining!

1. "I Shouldn't be Alive" on Animal Planet. So interesting! It can sometimes be sad (some people may die in their extreme adventures) but it is so great and you can't stop watching once you start. Give this one a try for sure!

2. "Shaq VS." on ABC Tuesdays nights. Tonight was the premier. He challenges the best athetes in the world to their sports (Ben Rothliesberger for football, Michael Phelps for swimming, Albert Pujols for baseball, etc) and then you see who wins in that sport. Not only is it fun to watch amazing athletes, but Shaq is so so so funny!

3. "Charger Cheerleaders" on the NFL Network. I thought I would hate that Comcast added this channel to our tv package that we have, but I think this is one show that I will like on the channel. It's just cheerleading tryouts for the NFL team the San diego Chargers.

4. "Dating in the Dark" on ABC Monday nights. I'm not going to lie, when I saw commercials for this, I thought it looked really lame, but Ryan and I look forward to watching it every week! Each week 3 new girls, and 3 new guys show up at the house in different wings, and only interact in a pitch black room, then at the end they can invited one person to "see in the light" then after they have seen eachother, they can decide to meet out on the porch and continue their relationships. It's just great, for sure give this one a try!

Anyway, we're both doing great! I'm out on the floor at school now and taking appointments and loving it. Ryan goes back to school for fall semester on Monday, and our 2nd anniversary is coming on the 30th, less than two weeks away! I can't believe how fast time flies! We're both still so happy and so lucky!
