Utah September 2014

I planned to take Easton up to Utah to see our families one last time before I got too far along in pregnancy. I didn't want to be uncomfortable driving up, but knew that we wouldn't be making it up for the holidays and that we would want to see everyone! I'm so glad that we did, we had such a great time, and were able to do some awesome things with everyone! We drove up Thursday. Friday we went to the Ogden Temple Openhouse with my mom and Michelle, and also say my grandparents there. The temple was gorgeous and Easton was blown away by all the pictures of Jesus and all of the mirrors. Afterwards, we went to Zupas for lunch. That night we went to Jordan's soccer game and saw all the kids. We got to see Norm get his USU Club Baseball World Series ring during the football game on Saturday. Spent the night in Logan and had fun with Kristin and Daxon since they stayed with us. Sunday afternoon, we had FHE with my grandparents and Jill and Royal at Michelle's house. Monday, my mom and Jeanette and I took Easton, Jack and Luke to the Hogle Zoo. It was so much fun, and definitely the highlight of the trip! Tuesday, we planned to drive home, but because of heavy rains in Vegas, there was flooding, and a part of the freeway broke apart in Moapa Valley. So we stayed an extra day while they got a detour figured out. That day we met up with Haley and her cute kids in Kaysville for lunch, then Easton and I went to Target to go backpack shopping for him to start preschool! Wednesday, we headed out bright and early, but made sure to stop in Lehi to see Danielle and her two cute kids as well. We stayed for a few hours and had lunch with them, then we were on our way back to Vegas. It was such a fun trip, and I'm so glad we were able to go up and spend quality time with some of our favorite people!

Sky View High School 10 year Reunion

Ryan has officially been graduated from high school for ten years. I'd say in those ten years he accomplished quite a bit too! He served a full time LDS mission to Dallas, TX. Got married, graduated with his bachelor's in Exercise Science from USU, had his first kid, went to graduate school and graduated there with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy, and now has his second baby on the way! Along with lots of other milestones along the way, he sure has done a lot!
It was fun to fly up to Utah for the weekend, and see some of his best friends and their wives, and also get to meet a lot of other friends I'd never met.
We also were lucky that the reunion was held over Father's Day weekend so we got to see both of our dad's and spend time with them!

Missing Tanner and Kirstin Cooley, who would've completed the group of BFF's!

Utah Mar-Apr 2014

Easton and I headed up to Utah again towards the end of March this last year to go help at the RubyClaire Boutique booth at the Reclaimologists and Other Crafty Chicks Boutique. It was so much fun to work with Kristin again and get to stay in a hotel together and hang out all day! It was great to see our families and friends again, and it was the first time we got to see Haley since she'd moved up a few month earlier. Overall it was a great trip, and we always love our busy Utah adventures!
First morning of the boutique, and we were pretty darn exhausted after staying up all night setting up, and waking up early to get back to set up some more!

bedtime stories with Grandma and Grandpa. This little boy is loved and spoiled more than he will ever know!

Met up with Haley, Kruz and Avy at the Layton FunPark for Kruzer's bithday! So much fun to see our buddies again!

Kruz and Easton goin' wild on the road!

Stopped by Miss Jill's preschool again on 'O' Day! Made an octopus, and touched a REAL octopus!

we drove up to Logan to see Grandma and Grandpa Doyle, and Lauren and DJ. We got to go the the USU Barn where DJ works and see all the horses, and ride/drive the tractor. Easton was in HEAVEN! Afterwards we went to dinner for DJ's birthday at Beehive Grill.

Happy 26 years to me!

This year for my birthday I was totally spoiled and spent the day eating and sitting a theater. My two favorite things! For lunch we went to The Greenery with my parents, Jeanette, and Grandparents. Then afterwards Jeanette and I met my friend Chelsea to watch the movie "Saving Mr. Banks" Then later, for dinner, Ryan took Easton and I to Chili's for dinner, then we took Easton home to my parents while we went back to the movies to see "Les Miserables" If I didn't know Ryan loved me before, I for sure know now! He NEVER would have gone to see that besides for my birthday haha! The next day I met up with Ryan's mom and sister's and we headed to Station Park for birthday shopping and lunch at Settebello! It was all my favorite things in one weekend, so pretty much a perfect birthday!

Christmas in Utah

I absolutely love spending the holidays with family, so even though we had just been up for Thanksgiving, we headed back up for Christmas! It was great to see everyone again, spent lots of time with both sides of the family, and loved every second!
The first part of the week we were with the Doyle's in Logan. We stayed there through Christmas Eve, then drove down to North Ogden with my family. Stayed in Ogden through my birthday and then came back to nice clear roads in Las Vegas! It was a busy week, but worth every second of exhaustion!
This bomber jacket was given to Easton from G&G Doyle...it was Ryan's when he was just a little guy, and it's the cutest little thing ever. I'm really hoping it still fits him this upcoming winter season!

Santa came to Grandma's house!!!!

Nothing better than getting a gift straight from Santa himself!

decorating gingerbread man and Christmas Tree cakes. He was completely enthralled!

New trucks for Chase and Easton from Grandma and Grandpa!
Doyle Kids Nativity...Easton and Mike were the Sheep :)

Christmas morning and Santa brought him a Thomas the Train set! Best gift ever, it was hard to get him to open anything else and pay attention to it for more than .5 seconds.

Boonerman got one gift...a Niner's jersey! Woot Woor!

NEW TRACTOR!

His face was worth every second! Such a happy guy!

All I wanted was this fun bundt pan for Christmas, and Ryan got it, I was thrilled and immediately baked a cake, pretty right??

Merry Christmas from the Doyle Clan!

at the Broadbent Christmas Party at my Uncle Dave's church. Michelle and Jeanette dressed as twins (umplanned) and I apparently dressed up as a pirate (again...I guess I thought it was Halloween still!) Love these sisters though!

Thanksgiving...and RubyClaire launch!

For Thanksgiving we drove up a week early so I could be there for RubyClaire's first big photoshoot!!! It was a LOT of work, Kristin and I stayed up all night styling all the new items we had ordered, and the next day Norm and Lauren met us to be the photographers, and we took pictures ALLL DAAAY LOOONG! It was an exhausting day, but so much fun, and we were so excited to get things started for the business! We also had our first booth at the WHAT WOMEN WANT expo in Salt Lake. It went really well, and Kristin and I had so much fun working the booth together!

Thanksgiving was so much fun to spend with family. Wednesday night we went to my Grandma and Grandpa Paulson's house, my Uncle Chris and his family were in town and it was so much fun to see them and catch up!

Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, we went to Kristin's house to spend the holiday with the Doyle's. It was so much fun, and great to spend time one on one with our family members that we don't get to see enough!
lunch with Grandma :)

Easton begged for Santa to bring this to him....hmmm?

Easton found a pile of pennies and we were pretty sure he swallowed one on Wednesday afternoon. Especially after he told us multiple times his belly hurt, and then proceeded to break down bawling and saying it hurt so bad. An x-ray later, we found out he was penny free...and probably just hungry! ....that 'penny' cost us a pretty penny!
