American West Heritage Center

On afternoon my brother Clark, and his wife Annie came up to spend the afternoon at American West Heritage Center in Wellsville. It was fun, pretty cold, and started to rain at the end, but the kids loved it. We went on a train ride, and saw lots of animals. Afterwards we met Ryan, after he got off work, and went to dinner at one of our favorite Cache Valley restaurants, Firehouse, yum! It was so much fun to be able to spend some one on one time with them, and we always have so much fun together. Love you guys!

The Broadbent family on the train (ps: craziest train conductor ever driving us!)

Easton and I on the train, HA! He was slightly unsure if he was having fun or hating it.

My big brother Clark and his boys Luke and Jack. Cute fam right?

USU Homecoming Football

The day after we got to Logan was USU's homecoming game. We got lucky to have tickets since Ryan's mom, Kim, works for the Provost's office, and we she was able to get us tickets. Not JUST tickets though, she also was in charge of putting together a tailgate party before in the parking lot, and she got us into that, as well as front row parking, great seats, gift bags, an adorable USU jersey for Easton....she spoiled us, and we had such a blast! We sat in our seats until halftime, and then we moved down to the general admission seating and found some old friends to catch up with. It was a great game, and Easton was great for having a late night!

Playing some frisbee before the game.

My Aggie boys!

This is how the Provost's Office tailgates....we ate like Kings and Queens thanks to the catering department.

Big Blue stopped by for a visit

View from our seats. It was nice to not have any standers in front of us and to be able to sit and enjoy the game.

He likes football!

We met up with the Luces and Olsen's at halftime, and watched Carter and Cameron wrestle...funny boys!

For the second half of the game Easton hung out with his Auntie Morgan, and Toby :)

Austin, Dallin and Ryan....BFF's since childhood

Cache Valley Fun

While we were in Utah for October, we were able to do so many fun things each day on top of the 'big stuff' we did. It was so much fun to be able to catch up with friends and family and not feel rushed while we were with them. The month started out with nice mild Utah fall weather (around 70 degrees) and by the end of the month, it was snowing and cold! Glad we were able to get our fill of the 'season' and come back home to warm weather in Las Vegas, it's really the best of both worlds!

We fed ducks with Jenn and her boys at First Dam

Cameron and Easton peeking at the ducks and geese

Cameron, Carter and Easton, tossing the bread to the geese.

One of my best friends, Danielle,  had a baby shower and I was SO happy that I was able to be there for it !

We played a lot with cousins and family. Here are Savannah, Jordan, Jack, Easton and Jake.

Fed ducks in North Ogden at 'The Stump' by Lees, with Grandma and the cousins.

On our first night in town, we stopped to see Kristin in West Point and she fed us a yummy dinner! Easton loved having his first watermelon.

He loved playing with his cousin Chase who is just a few months older than Easton. PEEK-A-BOO!

Ryan and I went on a very relaxing golf date. So nice to have some quiet one-on-one time.

I only putt. :)

Hole 18 at Birch Creek in Smithfield. Gorgeous view!

Fed some more ducks with Grandma B at First Dam when she came up to visit.

Grandma and Easton making sure no ducks go hungry.

Easton had a great theory...."one for me, one for the ducks"

we did a lot of relaxing, and Easton found a new love for the YouTube music video of "Gangam Style" by Psy.

LOVED being surrounded by gorgeous red, orange, yellow and greens. Best fall mountains!

Easton worked on his jump shot.

We need a dog....Easton LOVED Tillis. He would get SO excited to see him when he was over, and got a kick out of feeding him his breakfast lunch and dinner.

I went to the new Brigham City Temple a couple of weeks after it opened. My mom, two sisters , and grandparents came up , and we went to Maddox after for lunch.

Easton went to nursery for the first time with my Aunt Jill. He looks so big!

Jack and I had a sleepover at my mom's and Jack was super helpful in the morning :)

I went to Thriller with Morgan and her cute mom! The boys took us to dinner and Cafe Sabor before and it was delish!

We met Alyssa and Parker at the Treehouse Museum in Ogden for a fun morning. It's always fun to catch up with Lyssa and compare the boys, Parker is just 3 days older than Easton.

WICKED

I obviously haven't posted in a LONG time, and have a lot to catch up, so it's a good thing my first post back is a fun one!
My mom and sister's drove down to stay with me on Sept 25 and we saw WICKED that night. It was beyond incedible! But before I get to that, let's talk about the other fun things we also did during their quick 24 hour stay!
We went and got yummy frozen custard and Neilson's, ran some errands, went to dinner at Macaroni Grill....Wicked of course....and topped it off with a late night trip to Fremont Street. The next morning we headed down to the strip and saw the gondolas in The Venetian  and the beautiful glass flower ceiling in The Bellagio. It was so much fun, I always wish that we had family near by to be able to do things like this on more frequent occasions.
Now, about Wicked. My mom is so sweet and bought us all tickets as early Christmas gifts, and we were all so happy about it! The night we went, the main Elpheba and the understudy Elpheba, were both out, and so we got another FABULOUS girl they had flown in. I'm not kidding you, she stole the show. It was so much fun to watch! None of us have ever seen it, but all know the songs pretty well, and for thinking that we knew the whole story line, there were a lot of parts that surprised us. It was such an amazing night, and so much fun to spend it with my mom and sisters!
