maddie lynn

ryan's sister julie had her baby girl on february 18th, 2008 at 5:53 p.m. she weighed 7 lbs 4 oz and was 20 inches long, and she is absolutely beautiful! we went down on saturday to see her and had so much fun. she slept the whole time and was just so cute! as you can see ty is very happy and proud big brother! and we're very excited that we have a baby girl on the doyle side of the family now!

aggie games

One of our favorite (and cheapest) things to do is go to the Utah State basketball games. Since the season is almost over, i thought i'd show everyone how much fun we have. We get to the games about an hour early to get our usual seats, and we sit with some of our best friends. Alex and Danielle, and Kevin and Carli. After the games we always go out to eat and Wingers and get their killer game night deal. we definatley will miss the games when the season is over...good thing the baseball season starts up next week to keep us busy!

president's day weekend

so last weekend ryan and i made the trip up to the doyle family cabin. we got there at about 2 a.m. saturday morning and stayed until monday afternoon. it was so fun to get away! we were blown away by all the snow, about 5-6 feet in some places, and we were lucky enough to have a whole herd or elk as our neighbors across the river! we just watched movies, played the wii...and i read a lot of twilight/new moon, and of course relaxed in the hot tub a lot (after ryan cleaned out all the moss in the bottom....hence the funny swimsuit with boots! over all, we had so much fun and were really sad when it was time to come home.

new hair cut!

on monday i went to get my hair cut, and it's a lot different than it was before! I'm still getting used to it and Ryan also is definately still getting used to it (poor guy, he likes long hair.) so anyway, i cut off 7 inches and got bangs...it's really fun and such a good new change for me! i love it!

my favorite present was the sweeeeet shelf ryan got me to put our tv on....now i can watch movies in bed!! horray!
just coloring on the tables at my most favorite place to eat...macoroni grill! and then after we went on a horse drawn carriage ride around downtown salt lake....but we forgot the camera, so you'll just have to imagine it..

my mom got this for ryan, and i'm pretty sure she was just as excited to give it to him as he was to get it! he loves his baseball book!

so we survived our first christmas together! it was so much fun to able to spend so much time with both of families, we couldn't have asked for a better holiday!
