got 'em!

yay! now you can all see my cake creation and the pretty flowers from Valentines Day. I got my phone to finally send the pictures...so they're a little blurry, but oh well.

v-day!

I know I'm a couple days late on this one, but i just couldn't pass up a post on valentines! i love it too much! it's a whole day dedicated to being cheesy, mushy, ooey-gooey, lovey-dovey, and crazy in love! this year we didn't do anything crazy at all though, which was perfect, we stayed at home, Ryan made me a delicious steak dinner, and got me pretty red roses and the movie Nights in Rodanthe (i've wanted to see it since i read the book, but it wasn't in theatres anymore nor was it on DVD yet...best present EVER!) so we just had a delicious dinner, and watched my new movie. and for dessert, i made him a heart shaped chocolate cake (complete with pink and purple dinosaur sprinkles, ha!)

***ok so i didn't have a camera with me at the time, but i took pictures on my camera phone, but for some reason they won't send from my phone to my email, so instead of picture of us and our sweet gifts...enjoy Richard Gere and Diane Lane dancing in a chick-flick!

my wedding is better than your wedding.

so i haven't posted anything in awhile, i know i know. but i also realized, that i have not only not been posting much lately, but i haven't even been posting pictures of us, or that matter even pictures that i've taken! i'm turning into an awful blogger and i apologize. so to make it up to you, i'm going to post about why my wedding was the best wedding day out of everyones (yes, that's right, even yours). And I'll let the picture do the explaining:

1. first and foremost i got to marry this hunka hunka burnin' love!


2. we found out that even though we were married, we were still attracting the opposite sex!



3. my mom brought snacks for us to eat while we were getting pictures taken outside the temple


4. my mom also made all these super cute dresses for my bridesmaids (my mom is awesome right?)


5. we had a band that came and played songs that he learned specifically for our wedding! such as "bubbly" colbie callait, "sunday" bebo norman, "on my mind" kalai, and others. talk about a cool band...


6. we had cotton candy!!!!!




7. i got raspberry filled chocolate wedding cake smeered across my face and veil.


these are just 7 of the reasons i think my wedding was great. and i'm totally kidding about ours being better than yours...i'm sure your wedding were great too! anyway, i thought i'd do a wedding post since i started my blog after our wedding and i've never done one since...also, i miss the warm weather and looking at these nice august pictures make me happy!

BREAKING NEWS!!!

For a LONG time now, Ryan and I have been debating whether we are able to afford sending me back to school. I decided against USU after my first year there and I've never looked back (i hated it). I've thought about dental assisting, photography, and cosmetology and gone back and forth on my top choices out of those three for a about a year now, but it always comes down to cosmetology. I've wanted to do that for years now, and I'm excited to tell you all that I start at New Horizons Beauty College on June 9! YAY! that day can't come soon enough!!!!

spiritual saturday

Today my family came up to Logan to visit Ryan and I and see our place...but mostly to go to the temple. We all get together about once every 3 or four months to have a temple day together. It's so special to be able to go with my whole family. So far we've been to the Ogden, Salt Lake, and now Logan Temples, next on our list is the Bountiful. Afterwards we all went out for a FEAST at Fire House Pizzeria, it was delicious, we ordered way to much food, but it was oh so delicious! We had such a fun day and can' wait to do it again!
